Ship Management
EQS LOGISTIK SP. Z O.O manages in-house the majority of its fleet, which comprises crude oil carriers ranging from Suezmax to Very Large and V-Plus and FSO.
Supplementary to its in house fleet management, we cooperate with established ship management organizations for a part of the fleet.
EQS LOGISTIK SP. Z O.O’s fleet trades worldwide, to ports and for charterers with the strictest requirements. The vessels and crews are in constant interaction with the shore staff through regular onboard visits, briefing and debriefing sessions upon joining or disembarking, modern communication means and conferences ashore as well as onboard or in-house training sessions. Superintendents, internal and external auditors, customers, as well as national and international regulatory bodies assess vessel and crew performance.
EQS LOGISTIK SP. Z O.O has excellent relations with all major oil majors. The organization, as well as the vessels, has successfully passed numerous oil major vetting assessments. All services are provided with the ultimate regard for the health, safety, security, environmental and quality standards applicable to the maritime transportation industry as a primary concern.
Technical Management
EQS LOGISTIK SP. Z O.O Ship Management is providing full technical services. More specifically, it has a diversified team of technical, HSQE marine, electrical superintendents and purchasers per group of vessels which is supervised by a senior superintendent (head of group), who look after the proper maintenance, repairs, surveys and supply of spares provisions of each vessel. Superintendents monitor the performance and condition of the vessels by both routine reports and frequent onboard visits and inspections. Vessels undergo scheduled dry-docking, which are meticulously planned and with work lists developed from dry-dock to dry-dock after consulting the vessels’ crew, bearing in mind suggestions for improvement and upgrades.
Plan Maintenance System: using advanced software, the inspection, and maintenance works of the vessel are closely monitored by the shore management.
Projects Department
EQS LOGISTIK SP. Z O.O has in-house expertise which can manage new building and major conversions projects. Their services include pre-contract and post-contract consultancy, as well as technical support. The process ensures that the vessels are constructed in accordance with the Company’s own requirements, which in many cases exceed the requirements of the international regulatory framework.
Marine Management
EQS LOGISTIK SP. Z O.O Ship Management has employed a team of highly qualified and competent ex-captains to provide quality services to the fleet. In accordance with the plethora of regulations governing the marine transportation industry, the HSQE marine manager and superintendents ensure that the fleet meets the predetermined criteria.
Using tools for continual improvement like internal audits, share of information regarding investigation and analysis of accidents and incidents, hazardous occurrences/near misses, vessel safety committee meetings, risk assessment and management of change, they ensure that our clients receive high quality services with the less possible negative impact on personnel safety, health, and the protection of the environment.
Crew Management
EQS LOGISTIK SP. Z O.O Ship Management employees and offer career opportunities to officers and crew of various nationalities from Europe, Asia, and America.
A common IT crewing tool is used by all crewing departments to propose job opportunities at any time to Euronav seafarers allowing to develop and retain competencies within the Group. To ensure that all vessels are manned with qualified and competent crew, a detailed training matrix, which includes external and in-house training above minimum statutory requirements as well as computer-based training, has been developed and is evaluated on a quarterly basis. Training performed is being recorded and assessed, and training needs are being further evaluated during quarterly management review meetings.
Additionally, sea staff, being on leave, is provided the opportunity for shore-based training, by attending office activities, seminars, and conferences and is kept in contact with the Company through newsletters and regular communication.
